What To Pack

Ensuring you’re prepared for the unpredictability of the Alaskan weather will significantly increase the chances of getting the most from your cruise. Temperatures will range from single digits to the 20’s oC. Just remember layers, layers, layers rather than a T-shirt and huge padded parka.

  • Clothing you can layer

  • Fleeces or jumpers
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Lightweight hat, scarf and gloves

  • Mosquito repellent : despite there being 55 different types of mosquito in Alaska mosquitoes can dealt with easily by packing and using a 100% DEET product. Absolutely essential in June and July.
