Misty Fjords National Monument

Misty Fjords National Monument, an area of 2.3m acres, runs to the east of Ketchikan and is only visited by the smaller cruise ships (excursions are possible from Ketchikan by plane or boat if your ship does not enter this channel). It displays a striking landscape of volcanic cliffs and coves and is an ideal viewing site for marine life, eagles and other wildlife.
